The international conference of religious leaders-2024 organized by the World Muslim League was held in Malaysia on 07.05.2024.
Many leaders and scholars from all religions participated in this conference. Mufti M.I.M. Rizwe made a detailed and articulate presentation to the congregation on the need for unity in diversity and the peaceful way of life that the Medina Charter would introduce to the world.
Mufti Rizwe also pointed out the struggle for the right to life of Palestinian Muslims and the brutality they are experiencing in the said assembly, which was attended by international religious leaders and scholars. He called on the international community to stop the violence and violations committed against the Palestinian people, to grant them their rights, and to act quickly to get justice for them.
This was followed by a speech by the President of ACJU on the origin of Sri Lanka and the means of building world peace were also pointed out.
The conference was attended by numerous representatives from Sri Lanka, and it is noteworthy that ACJU’s Assistant General Secretary, Ash-Shaikh M.S.M. Thaseem, was also present.
