We, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, express our deepest sympathies and concerns and pray for all those who have lost their lives and have been affected due to the floods in Pakistan.
According to media reports, more than 1000 people have died and more than 30 million people have been severely affected due to these devastating floods.
The ACJU urges everyone to pray for those affected and the families of those who lost their lives, to be blessed with solace and restored with normalcy.
Furthermore, the ACJU appeals to all to extend possible assistance on humanitarian values emphasized by Islam, to those affected by these floods and urges to channel possible assistance through the High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka.
May Almighty Allah Ta’ala protect us from sudden deaths and unbearable calamities.
