The global community is horrified by the heinous bombing on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza which killed hundreds of innocent civilians. Such attacks on medical facilities are a violation of international law and have devastating consequences for civilians and the healthcare system.
The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) strongly condemns this brutal attack on defenseless innocent civilians, which cannot be justified at any cost.
The alarming escalation of violence in the region is greatly disturbing and the plight of the innocent children, women, elderly, and patients is deeply anguishing.
Such horrific war crimes should be strongly dealt under international laws and justice should be imparted in an unbiased manner.
We appeal the International Community to intervene and de-escalate the crisis situation immediately and prevent further loss of innocent lives.
Efforts should be initiated to evacuate stranded innocent civilians within the region in a safe prompt manner and humanitarian aid should be facilitated to the victims of war.
We especially urge the authorities in the conflict region to facilitate the safe evacuation of the Sri Lankan workers who are stranded in the region.
May Almighty Allah preserve the innocent civilians and bless the world with peace and protect it from all forms of evils.
