Ash Shaikh M. Arkam Nooramith, General Secretary of ACJU, and Ash Shaikh M.S.M. Thassim, Asst. Secretary of ACJU visited the Embassy of Palestine in Colombo today (20th May) and
expressed concern and grief, on behalf of the Muslim community of Sri Lanka, over the injustices being perpetrated against the people of Palestine.
The concerns expressed by the Prime Minister of our Motherland, Honorable Mahinda Rajapaksa regarding this matter, was also discussed during this meeting.
A statement from ACJU expressing solidarity with the Palestinians during this critical period was handed over to the Embassy.
We pray that this critical issue is resolved quickly, may those people be blessed with solace and security.
