On 7th October 2024, Ash-Sheikh M. Arkam Nooramith attended this significant event, organized by the Palestinian Embassy in Sri Lanka, to mark the first anniversary of the ongoing genocide in the Palestine-Gaza region.
During the event, the General Secretary of the ACJU outlined the organization’s stance on the Palestinian issue and emphasized the ACJU’s efforts in opposing the ongoing genocides and occupation activities in the region.
Officials from the Palestinian Embassy expressed deep appreciation for the ACJU’s position and efforts regarding the Palestinian cause, extending their gratitude during the event.
Ash-Sheikh M. Arkam Nooramith also offered special prayers for the victims and those affected in Palestine, praying for a swift resolution and the restoration of peace to the region.
Additionally, it is noteworthy that the General Secretary of the ACJU signed a petition demanding justice for Palestine, which was part of a signature campaign held at the event.
