Let us pray for relief from this calamity and to be bestowed with a prosperous life
We are well aware of the situation the world is currently facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hundreds of thousands of people have been infected, while many thousands of lives have been lost due by this virus. The whole world has come to a standstill. Normal routine lifestyles have been disrupted severely. People are miserably spending their days in fear, sorrow and in depression.
It is a duty bound upon every Muslim to pray towards Allah for the total eradication of this situation from our country and from the rest of the world.
It is known that since the initial stage of this situation, the ACJU has been continuously reiterating to engage in Tawbah, Isthigfar, to observe Sunnah Fasts, to offer Sadaqa and to involve in Duas. Through supplications (Dua) our needs are fulfilled, virtues are attained. It also a means of gaining nearness to Allah. Allah loves those of his slaves who supplicate to him.
“Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” (Quran 40:60)
At a critical period when many people are facing economic issues and other difficulties, engaging in charity in all possible means and observing supplementary fasts in abundantly, would gain the pleasure of Allah. The current month of Sha’baan, is a period when the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to observe supplementary fast excessively. Based upon this, the ACJU encourages those who are able, to observe fast and supplicate on the Lunar Days 13,14,15 (April 07,08,09) which is known to be Ayyaamul Beel.
The ACJU requests all Muslim males, females, youngsters, and the elderly to remain at their homes and engage in good deeds, and to excessively supplicate to Allah to relive everyone from difficulties, and also to seek refuge from Allah by reciting the respective morning and evening recitals consistently.
His Excellency the President has also requested all religious places to engage in prayers for the recovery of the nation from all sorts of difficulties, and for prevalence of development and prosperity. Accordingly, during the days of ‘Ayyamul Beel’, the ACJU kindly requests the Masjids to arrange Duas to be supplicated via the loudspeakers after Maghrib Azan, and the people shall respond with ‘Aameen’ from their residences
The following sample Duas can be used for this purpose. We request to supplicate these Duas individually as well.
May Almighty Allah protect us and the people of this nation from all sorts of calamities! And may He ease all affairs!
