In the context of the economic crisis in our country, we see that the prices of commodities are rising day by day and people are finding it very difficult to fulfil their daily essentials.

We, the servants of Allah, should turn towards Him during such crisis situations. During times of trials and tribulations, it is inherent to engage in good deeds such as prayer, fasting, supplication, Dhikr, Isthighfar and Sadaqah, to seek the help of Allah the Almighty, so that he grants us relief from such trials and tribulations.

Dua is a form of worship and a weapon for seeking recompense for grievous losses from Almighty Allah. So it is important to pay special attention in this regard. Allah Ta’ala states in the Holy Qur’an:

“Your Lord has said, “Call Me, I will respond to you”. (Surah Ghaafir, Verse 60)

“When My servants ask you about Me, then (tell them that) I am near. I respond to the call of one when he prays to Me” (Surah Baqara, Verse 186)

During times of hardships, the Holy Prophet (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) used to draw near to Almighty Allah through supplications. Especially, He (SallallahuAlaihiWasallam) has recited ‘Qunoot An-Naazila’ (Qunoot recited during the trials) in prayers.

Therefore, Religious Scholars have stated that it is Sunnah to recite Qunoot An-Naazila in prayers during trials in general.

Accordingly, the ACJU urges all Muslims to recite the Qunoot An-Naazila in the five daily prayers briefly with a conviction for a month, supplicating to resolve the current crisis in the country and to restore normalcy in the lives of the people.

The ACJU requests to include the following Duas while reciting the Qunoot An-Naazila:
