The Dept. of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs organized a cordial meeting with Hon. Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs – Vidura Wickramanayaka, M.P. on 2022.06.23 at the Ministry premises.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Dept. of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and representatives of various organizations representing the Muslim community.
Representing ACJU, General Secretary – Ash Shaikh M. Arkam Nooramith and Coordinator of the ACJU Council for Coordination and Cooperation (CCC) Ash-Shaikh Salman, participated in this meeting. During the course of discussion the ACJU stated that it is committed to extend utmost cooperation to build this country by strengthening unity and peaceful coexistence.
Furthermore, the Hon. Minister requested the participants to raise awareness and encourage the community via Masjids to plant trees.
