The ACJU expresses its deepest condolences on the news of the demise of the Chief Prelate of Sri Lanka Ramanna Nikaya, Venerable Napane Pemasiri Thero.
While the Thero had dedicated an extensive period of his life towards the wellbeing of all Sri Lankans beyond racial and religious differences and in building a distinguished Buddhist Community, he also desired to build a prosperous nation enshrouded with coexistence, peace, brotherhood and reconciliation.
It would be a great honor bestowed on him, if all Sri Lankans work enthusiastically towards achieving these great objectives which he strived with utmost dedication to be implemented within the society.
The Sri Lankan Muslim Community and the ACJU extends its deepest condolences to the Buddhist Community who are mourning the loss of the Venerable Thero.
