We, the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, are grieved by the news of the demise of Professor Venerable Dr. Bellanwila Wimalaratana Nayake Thero, the Chief Incumbent of the Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya. We extend our deepest sympathies to all who mourn in the country, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
He worked hard towards establishing a peaceful and prosperous motherland. The highest degree of honour and gratitude that all Sri Lankans could show, is to continue his everlasting mission of striving towards peace and prosperity in the country.
