On July 22, 2024, a special event was held at the Lotus Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo under the leadership of the Egyptian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Maged Mosleh, to mark the 72nd National Day of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The President of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), Mufti M.I.M. Rizwe, participated in this national day event.
The event, which was very well organized, featured cultural performances by children with disabilities and elderly residents of senior homes.
It is noteworthy that many political dignitaries, embassy officials, and important figures attended the event.
