The South Asian and South-East Asian Ulama Conference of 2022, which was organized by Raabitul-Aalamil-Islami (Muslim World League) and Ministry of Islamic and Religious Affairs of the Prime Minister of Malaysia was held on the 2022.06.30 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
General Secretary of ACJU- Ash-Shaikh M. Arkam Nooramith, Asst. General Secretary- Ash-Shaikh M.S.M. Thassim, Director of the Dept. of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs- Mr. Ibrahim Ansar and many other prominent personalities participated in this Conference.
Their views were presented as representatives from Sri Lanka, and the importance of the Ulama working collaboratively was emphasized.
Many prominent Ulama from South Asia and Southeast Asia regions and Sri Lankans living in Malaysia were met and the current situation in Sri Lanka was discussed.
It is significant to note that the General Secretary of ACJU and Asst. General Secretary of ACJU met Prime Minister of Malaysia- Hon. Ismail Sabri Yakoob and Secretary General of Raabitul-Aalamil-Islami (Muslim World League) Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa at this Conference.
