السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
‘O Allah, let this moon appear on us with security and Imaan; with safety and Islam. (O moon!) Your Rabb and mine is Allah. May this moon bring guidance and good)’
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (Rali) said: “The Messenger of Allah said:
‘There has come to you Ramadhaan, a blessed month, in which Almighty Allah has enjoined you to (observe) fast. In it the gates of Heavens are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and every Devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.”‘
As we embrace the beginning of this sacred month of Mercy, our sincere prayers and thoughts are with all those who are vulnerable, sick, less fortunate and oppressed. Allah is the Most Just, the Most Merciful.
Let us strive to share the Blessings of this Holy Month with everyone with the spirit of kindness and generosity while being conscious of the health guidelines.
Truly, one’s faith is incomplete until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
May Almighty Allah help us to observe a meaningful Ramadhaan this year.
