All praise is due to Allah.

During this blessed month of Ramadan, we engaged in fasting, recitation of the Noble Qur’an, and various acts of worship in a proper and meaningful manner. By the grace of Allah Almighty, we have been granted the opportunity to celebrate the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.

On this joyous occasion, we extend our heartfelt Eid greetings on behalf of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama to all Muslims who are celebrating this blessed day across the country.

On this day of Eid, we pray to Allah Almighty to remove the prevailing tensions in the Middle East, to end oppression, and to grant peace, protection, and stability to all countries affected by ongoing conflicts in the region.

We also pray that justice is swiftly granted to the oppressed Muslims living in Palestine, and that peace and tranquility prevail over them.

Furthermore, across both developed and developing nations, people are yearning for global peace. We pray that their aspirations are fulfilled, that wars come to an end, and that people may live in freedom, with renewed hope, brotherhood, unity, and peace.

We also pray that countries like ours, Sri Lanka, which are striving for development, are protected from economic hardships and are blessed with stability, prosperity, and peace.

On this blessed day, let us strengthen our ties with our families, colleagues, and communities. Let us also extend our support and assistance to our neighbors and those in need, so that they too may celebrate this Eid in a joyful and dignified manner.

May Allah Almighty accept our fasts, our acts of worship, and all our good deeds, and reward us abundantly.

تقبل الله منا ومنكم
