The Hon. Ambassador of United States of America to Sri Lanka Julie Chung paid a courtesy visit to the ACJU Head office on the 2023.09.14, during which she had a cordial discussion with the Members of the Executive Committee of ACJU.
A brief introduction of the objectives, services towards the community, local and international relationships, of ACJU were presented during the course of discussion.President Mufti M.I.M. Rizwe and the Executive Committee members detailed the activities rendered by ACJU to the community and country.
Hon. Ambassador Julie Chung acknowledged the services of ACJU and emphasized the need for collective efforts towards humanitarian services and reconciliation. Political Officer Ruby Woodside and Political Specialist Nazreen Marikkar from the US Embassy also participated in this meeting.
Representing ACJU, President- Mufti M.I.M. Rizwe, General Secretary- Ash Shaikh M. Arkam Nooramith, Treasurer- Ash Shaikh Dr. A.A. Azwar, Vice President- Ash Shaikh A.L.M. Khaleel and Executive Committee members Ash Shaikh M.M.M. Murshid, Ash Shaikh M.H.M. Burhan, Ash Shaikh S.L. Nawfar, Ash-Shaikh M.F.M. Fazil and Ash-Shaikh M. Rifa Hasan also participated in this meeting.
