A delegation of the Executive Committee of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Colombo on 14 July 2026 to convey their condolences on the passing of the former Ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During the visit, the delegation met with Mr. Ali bin Salim Al Nuaimi, the Chargé of Affairs of the Embassy, and formally handed over the ACJU’s message of condolence.
The delegation comprised Ash-Sheikh M.H.M. Burhan, Acting President of the ACJU; Ash-Sheikh M. Arkam Nooramith, General Secretary; and Ash-Sheikh Dr. A.A. Ahmad Aswar, Asst. Treasurer. They also recorded their condolences in the official Condolence Book opened at the Embassy.
