A cordial meeting was held between Ash-Shaikh M. Arkam Nooramith, General Secretary of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU), and His Excellency Andrew Patrick, British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, at Westminster House in Colombo on October 29, 2024.
This meeting was held at the invitation of the High Commissioner.
During the discussions, topics related to strenthening of peaceful coexistence among the communities of Sri Lanka were explored.
The ACJU General Secretary provided an overview of the organization’s ongoing services within the Muslim community and its broader contributions towards national harmony and human welfare.
In response, the British High Commissioner expressed that his office is committed to supporting the best interests of Sri Lanka and will continue its efforts to enhance the well-being of the Sri Lankan people.
