“The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’ān was revealed as guidance for mankind, and as clear signs that show the right way and distinguish between right and wrong. So those of you who witness the month must fast in it.”
(Surah Baqarah, Verse 185)
In accordance to the above Divine injunction, we have completed a Month of obligatory fasts, which was ordained with the objective of strengthening the relationship with Almighty and attaining piety (Taqwa).
The President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Committee, Members and Staff of ACJU convey their greetings to all the Muslims who are celebrating this ‘Eid-ul-Fitr’ Festival.
The ACJU urges all Muslims to extend possible assistance to the their families, relatives, poor and neighbors and engage in efforts to relieve their burdens during this economic crisis period.
Let us celebrate this blessed Festival with joy and happiness, while observing the Religious Guidance and let us ensure that our relatives and neighbors too are able to celebrate this day with happiness and contentment.
May Almighty Allah accept our fasts and our deeds and grant us the highest rewards.
May He enable us to live as a society that is blessed with His Divine Pleasure through the blessings of our attachment towards the Holy Quran and the piety attained during this Ramadhaan.
