The postponed hearing in the case filed against an individual named Indika Todawatta for allegedly insulting Islam was held on 11 February 2026 at the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court.
During the hearing, the Honourable Magistrate postponed the matter until 27 February 2026 for the issuance of an order in relation to the case.
The Magistrate further informed the parties that their personal appearance in Court on the said date would not be required, and that the next date of hearing would be determined and communicated after the April Court vacation.
