To the Honourable Imams of the Mosques,
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
For nearly 23 consecutive months, the people of Palestine – Gaza have been subjected to relentless inhumane assaults. Up to this day, more than 65,000 innocent Muslims have lost their lives and over 164,264 have been injured.
Therefore, in order for the brutal attacks currently taking place in that region to come to an end and for peace,
harmony, and justice to prevail, the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama kindly requests the Imams of all mosques to recite
the Duʿāʾ of Qunoot during the Fajr prayer, and to continue reciting it in the five daily prayers without interruption
until further notice, incorporating the following supplications within them.
In addition, the Jamiyyah urges all Muslims to pay greater attention to acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, charity, repentance, and seeking forgiveness (istighfār), and to engage earnestly in supplications..
اللَّهُمَّ اكْتُبِ الأمْنَ والسَّلَامَةَ عَلَى العِبَادِ والبِلَادِ خَاصَّةً فِيْ فِلَسْطِيْنَ
اللَّهُمَّ احْرُسْهُم بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِي لَا تَنَام، وَاكْنُفْهُم بِرُكْنِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُرَام، وَاحْفَظْهُم بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهِم، وَأَنْتَ رَجَاؤُنَا وَرَجَاؤُهُم.
اللَّهُمَّ حَرِّرِ الْمَسْجِدَ الأَقْصَى مِنْ كَيْدِ الغَاصِبِيْنَ وَالظَّالِمِيْنَ
اللهُمَّ اكْفِنَا شَرَّ الظَّالِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ في نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ
اللهُمَّ اكْفِهِمْ بِمَا شِئْتَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
