On 25th February 2025, a cordial meeting took place at the headquarters of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) between its Executive Committee members and Hon. Dilith Jayaweera, the Leader of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ party and a Member of Parliament, under the chairmanship of the Acting President of ACJU, Ash-Sheikh H. Umar Deen.
The meeting was held following a request made by Hon. Dilith Jayaweera.
During the meeting, an introduction to the history and past activities of ACJU was presented, along with an explanation of the organization’s consistent efforts to promote unity and harmony among all Sri Lankans.
Hon. Dilith Jayaweera shared insights into his party’s political principles and ideologies and elaborated on their future political initiatives.
Representing the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ party, the General Secretary and several Executive Committee members were also in attendance.
From ACJU, the Acting President Ash-Sheikh H. Umar Deen, General Secretary Ash-Sheikh M. Arkam Nooramith, Assistant Secretary Ash-Sheikh A.C.M. Fazil Humaidhi, Media Committee Secretary Ash-Sheikh M. Rifah Hassan, and Assistant Secretary of the Arabic Colleges Committee Ash-Sheikh N.M. Saifullah participated in the meeting.
