The International Conference of Interfaith Leaders of Asian Contries, organized by the World Muslim League was held in Malaysia on 08.05.2024. The President of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, Mufti M.I.M. Rizwe addressed the topic ‘Unity in Diversity’.
In his speech, he urged the scholars to focus on the need for world peace and social unity, understanding, and compromise on issues of conflicting opinions. He also prayed that every community should come forward to realize the importance of coexistence.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Khalid Ahmad Sahid bin Hamidi, Malaysian Culture Minister Khalid Haj Muhd Naeem bin Haji Mukhtar, and the Secretary-General of the World Muslim League, Khalid Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al Isa, also attended the conference.
During the event, copies of the book ‘Manhaj,’ published by the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, Stands and Guidelines for Sri Lankan Muslims in Religious Matters, were presented to the above leaders.
