We the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, express our deepest condolences on the demise of Dr. Amjad Ahsan Ali, who is a prominent personality from Pakistan.
‘Verily to Allah we belong and to Him is our return’ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Dr. Amjad Ahsan Ali, a devoted medical doctor who later immersed himself in the pursuit of Islamic knowledge and the Arabic language, has left an indelible mark on the global Muslim community. Following his graduation from medical school, he passionately embarked on a journey to deepen his understanding of Islam, learning Arabic, and engaging with esteemed Islamic Scholars across Pakistan and around the globe. His dedication led him to establish the Ayesha Siddika Ladies Islamic Arabic College and the Ibnu Abbas Islamic College for Boys.
Dr. Amjad Ali revolutionized the teaching of Arabic through innovative methodologies, emphasizing early-age education, notably the memorization of crucial texts such as Sahihul Buhari and other diverse Islamic literature. His commitment extended beyond education, as he established Bushra Publishing revitalizing ancient manuscripts and texts for modern readers. , he has also published a book called Al-Hijama Cupping –‘Healing the Sunnah Way’. His profound influence extended globally, benefiting students worldwide, including numerous Sri Lankans.
With profound sadness, we convey our deepest condolences to people of Pakistan, his students, his friends, his family and all his associates.
May Allah accept all his good deeds, purify his soul, and make his life in the Hereafter better than this world, may He grant his family peace and immense reward for their beautiful patience and unite them in Jannathul Firdous.
