On 29 November 2025, a special meeting on Relief Assistance was held at the headoffice of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) with the participation of ACJU Executive Committee members, members of Colombo District Mosque Federations, and representatives of civil society organizations.
The discussion focused on identifying immediate contributions that could be extended to the people affected by the disaster, as well as exploring ways to collaborate with the government in providing assistance to those impacted.
