With hearts filled with sorrow over the lives lost and the immense destruction caused by Cyclone Ditwah, we turn to Almighty Allah the Most Merciful, seeking His protection and mercy for all those affected in our country and all over the world.
In the spirit of Our Faith and human solidarity the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama is mobilising its teams to coordinate and support the national relief and recovery efforts. We are working closely with all Masjid Federation , Civil Society relief organisations, the Disaster Management Centre of Sri Lanka, and the relevant authorities to ease the suffering of our communities.
We stand together in this difficult time, making Dua for the safe-keeping of our nation, the grant of shahādah for those who have passed, healing for the injured, patience for the bereaved, and protection from further calamity.
May Almighty grant relief, safety, and ease to Sri Lanka and its people. Ameen
